Araya Rasdjarmrearnsook was born in 1957 in Tradand and lives in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Her work has been shown in solo exhibitions at Tensta Konsthall, Stockholm (2003), and the National Gallery, Bangkok (2003). She has participated in group exhibitions at ZKM, Karlsruhe (2012), the Singapore Art Museum (2010), the National Museum of Art, Osaka (2011), the Biennale of Sydney (2010), and Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art, Helsinki (2007).
