Jill Bennett, born in London and living in Sydney, is Professor and Director at the National Institute for Experimental Arts at COFA, University of New South Wales. She has published widely on art, visual culture, and new media. Her current projects include Curating Cities, which develops creative strategies for environmental sustainability. Her books include Practical Aesthetics: Events, Affects and Art After 9/11 (2012) and Empathic Vision (2005).
