Ryan Gander, born in 1976 in Chester, England, lives in London. He has had solo exhibitions at the Guggenheim Museum, New York (2010–11), Haus Konstruktiv, Zurich (2010), the Bonner Kunstverein (2008), the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam (2007), MUMOK, Vienna (2007), and Tate Britain, London (2006). He has participated in the Biennale di Venezia (2011), Manifesta 8 (2010), and the Biennale of Sydney (2008).
