The Three Little Pigs

During each of the 100 days of the exhibition, filmmaker Albert Serra is shooting a movie in up to four different locations throughout Kassel. Two hours of footage are presented twice a day (at 10:30 am and 5:30 pm), at the Bali Cinemas. At the close of dOCUMENTA (13), from September 8 – 16, 200 hours of edited footage are shown in one 24-hour non-stop screening (see p. 67). The film is not conceived as a narrative, but rather a continuous flow of spoken words, interwoven with excerpts from a book of conversations with Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, passages from transcriptions of private dialogs with Adolf Hitler, and comments made by Rainer Werner Fassbinder in a number of interviews.
