Michael Eskin is Co-Founder and Vice President of Upper West Side Philosophers, Inc., in New York City. He has taught at Cambridge and Columbia Universities and is the author of numerous books on literary and cultural subjects, including, most recently, The DNA of Prejudice: On the One and the Many (2010) and Poetic Affairs: Celan, Grünbein, Brodsky (2008).
