Words become images. is a web project by Masood Kamandy, in which guests supply “words” of their choosing to Kamandy, who in turn produces an image by way of response. Submissions include single words, phrases and gibberish, while reciprocally the images take various forms, be it a still, a film, and so on. By compiling these exchanges, Words become images. fosters a new, possibly global, lexicon for visitors and participants alike.
