Éric Alliez, geboren 1957, ist Professor am CREMP, Kingston University, London, und an der Universität von Paris 8. Seine Bücher umfassen The Guattari Effect (2011), Capitalism and Schizophrenia and Consensus: Of Relational Aesthetics (2010), L’OEil-Cerveau (2007), La Pensée- Matisse (2005), The Signature of the World (2005) und Capital Times (Vorwort von G. Deleuze, 1997). Demnächst erscheint Undoing the Image: Of Contemporary Art.
