Lida Abdul,

Lida Abdul was born in 1973 in Kabul and lives between Los Angeles and Kabul. She has hadsolo exhibitions at the Indianapolis Museum of Art (2008) and the Kunsthalle Wien, Vienna (2005). Abdul has participated in the Göteborg International Biennial (2007) and the Bienal de São Paulo (2006) and represented Afghanistan in its first pavilion at the Biennale di Venezia (2005).
