The sculptor Aase Texmon Rygh, born in 1925 in Norway, lives in Oslo and studied in Copenhagen and Oslo. Since 1950, she has had numerous exhibitions in Norway and a retrospective at the Henie- Onstad Art Centre, Høvikodden (1992). She has participated in solo and group exhibitions at GAD, Oslo (2010), the Bergen Kunstmuseum (2002), and Museum Middelheim, Antwerp (1959, 1979), as well as in the Bienal de São Paulo (1963).
