Alejandro Jodorowsky,

Born 1929 in Tocopilla, Chile, Alejandro Jodorowsky is an avantgarde filmmaker, playwright, composer, and writer who lives in Paris. His most notable film works include The Rainbow Thief (1990), Santa Sangre (1989), Tusk (1980), The Holy Mountain (1973), El Topo (1970), and Fando and Lis (1968). As a playwright and director, he has produced more than one hundred plays.
