Dario  Gamboni,

Dario Gamboni, born 1954 in Yverdon, Switzerland, is Professor of Art History at the University of Geneva, after teaching at the University of Amsterdam, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland and the University of Lyon-II. He was Clark Fellow at the Clark Art Institute, Senior Research Fellow at the Henry Moore Institute, Paul Mellon Visiting Fellow at CASVA, and received the Meret Oppenheim Prize in 2006. Gamboni has curated and co-curated several exhibitions, and has published numerous books, including Potential Images: Ambiguity and Indeterminacy in Modern Art (2002) and The Destruction of Art: Iconoclasm and Vandalism since the French Revolution (1997).
