Doreen Reid Nakamarra,

Doreen Reid Nakamarra was born near Warburton, Australia, in the mid-1950s and died in 2009 in Adelaide, Australia. In the 1980s, Nakamarra settled in the remote Aboriginal community of Kiwirrkurra, Western Australia. In 1996, she joined the Papunya Tula Artists cooperative, and she later participated in the Moscow Biennale (2009), the Biennale of Sydney (2008), and the National Indigenous Art Triennial, Canberra (2007).
