Ignacio Vidal-Folch, born 1956, is a journalist, translator and novelist based in Barcelona. He regularly writes for the newspaper El País, and is the author of many books including Barcelona – The Secret Museum (2009), Noche sobre noche (2009), Contramundo (2006 [1996]), Turistas del ideal (2005), Amigos que no he vuelto a ver (2002), La cabeza de plástico (Narrativas Hispanicas) (1999), La libertad (1996), and El arte no paga (1988).
