Kenneth Goldsmith,

Born in 1961 in Freeport, N. Y., Kenneth Goldsmith is a New York-based poet and cultural producer. He teaches Poetics and Poetic Practice at the University of Pennsylvania and is Senior Editor of PennSound. In 1996, he founded UbuWeb, a web-based resource for avant-garde film, audio works, and poetry. He has published ten books of poetry, notably Sports (2008), Traffic (2007), The Weather (2005), Day (2003), and Fidget (2000). Goldsmith’s book of essays, Uncreative Writing, was published in 2011. He is the editor of I’ll be Your Mirror: The Selected Andy Warhol Interviews (2004) and Against Expression: An Anthology of Conceptual Writing (2011).
