Mark Dion was born in 1961 in New Bedford, Massachusetts lives in New York, and works worldwide. He is Co-Director of Mildred’s Lane, Pennsylvania. Dion has had solo exhibitions at the Kunsthalle Krems (2009–10), the Miami Art Museum (2006), MoMA, New York (2004), and Tate Britain, London (2000). He has participated in numerous group exhibitions such as Skulptur Projekte Münster (1997) and the Biennale of Sydney (2008).
