Pascal Rousseau, born in 1965, is Professor of Contemporary Art History at the Université de Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne. He has curated the exhibitions “Fabrice Hyber. Pasteur’ Spirit” at the Institut Pasteur, Paris (2010), “Sous influence. Résurgences de l’hypnose dans l’art contemporain” at Musée cantonal des Beaux-Arts de Lausanne (2006), and “Aux origines de l’abstraction. 1800–1914” at the Musée d’Orsay, Paris (2003).
