Rahraw Omarzad,

Rahraw Omarzad was born in 1964 in Kabul, where he lives. He is Founding Director of the Centre for Contemporary Arts Afghanistan and Professor at Kabul University, as well as founder and editor of Gahnama-e-Hunar, an Afghan art magazine. He has participated in group exhibitions at the Asia Society, New York (2009), and Tate Britain, London (2008), and curated numerous exhibitions of young artists.
