Renata Lucas,

Renata Lucas, born in 1971 in Ribeirão Preto, Brazil, lives in Rio de Janeiro. Her solo exhibitions include the KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Berlin (2010), Gasworks, London (2007), and the Museu de Arte da Pampulha, Belo Horizonte (2002). Lucas has participated in the Biennale di Venezia (2009) and the Bienal de São Paulo (2006). In 2009, she received the Ernst Schering Foundation Art Award.
