The Prodigy of Nature

Once a week, during the exhibition, Chiara Fumai embodies the nineteenth-century bearded lady Annie Jones and reads a selection of letters of admiration sent to Mrs. Jones by twentyfirst century artists and writers. A spirit cabinet containing all the texts received via mediumistic writing, as well as all the thought forms produced during this mediumistic transmission is used as a freak-show scenario.
