Born in Palestine in 1974, Adania Shibli currently lives in Ramallah and Berlin. Shibli wrote the novels Touch (2009 [2001]) and We Are All Equally Far from Love (2012 [2003]), which earned her the Qattan Young Writer’s Award— Palestine. She worked as a lecturer in the Critical Theory and Cultural Studies Program, University of Nottingham (2005–09), and will be teaching at the Institute of Women Studies, Birzeit University.
