The Brazilian artist Anna Maria Maiolino, born in 1942 in Scalea, Italy, lives in São Paulo. She has had solo exhibitions at Malmö Konsthall (2011), the Fundació Antoni Tàpies, Barcelona (2010–11), Camden Arts Centre, London (2010), and Miami Art Central (2006). Maiolino has participated in the Bienal de São Paulo (2010) and the Biennale of Sydney (2008).
