Graham Harman, born in 1968 in Iowa City, is Professor of Philosophy at the American University in Cairo, where he received the 2009 AUC Excellence in Research and Creative Endeavors Award. His most recent publications include The Quadruple Object (2011), Quentin Meillassoux: Philosophy in the Making (2011), Towards Speculative Realism: Essays and Lectures (2010), and Circus Philosophicus (2010).
