Gustav Metzger,

Gustav Metzger was born in 1926 in Nuremberg, Germany, and lives in London. His work has been exhibited in solo exhibitions at the New Museum, New York (2011), the Serpentine Gallery, London (2009), and the Zacheta National Gallery of Art, Warsaw (2007). He has participated in the Bienal de São Paulo (2010), the Gwangju Biennale (2010), Sharjah Biennal (2007), Skulptur Projekte Münster (2007), the Biennale di Venezia (2003), and documenta 5 (1972).
