Simryn Gill,

Simryn Gill, born in Singapore, lives in Sydney and Port Dickson, Malaysia. She has had solo exhibitions at the Centre for Contemporary Photography, Melbourne (2009), the Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney (2008), and Tate Modern, London (2006). Her most recent group exhibitions are “In Great Trouble,” Bondi Pavilion, Sydney, the Istanbul Biennial, and “Life Stories,” Museum of Contemporary Art, Detroit (all 2011). Gill participated in documenta 12 in 2007.
