Zainab Haidary was born in Afghanistan in 1990 and lives in Kabul, where she studies in the Department of Fine Arts at Kabul University. Her works were shown in “The Haunted Lotus: Contemporary Art from Kabul” at the Cross Art Projects, Sydney (2010). Before that group exhibition, Haidary participated in the high school project Being “We the People,” exhibited at the National Constitution Center, Philadelphia, and the National Museum of Afghanistan, Kabul (2010).
