27 GNOSIS

27 GNOSIS is an activated installation on display in one of the storage halls of the Hauptbahnhof North Wing. In the afternoons and evenings, a changing set hosts a game show conducted by the artist, which plays on fear, exhilaration, and dislocation, and presents abrupt changes in content, context, and perspective, as well as light and scale. Drawing on the absurd and the uncanny, the artist pulls visitors into the game, producing an atmosphere both exhilarating and fright-inducing. Together with two to three performers—invited “experts” on subjects related to those featured in each episode—visitors can take part in the shows. The installation is permanently accessible to viewers.
