60 wrd/min art critic

For dOCUMENTA (13), art writer Lori Waxman sets up another installment of her ongoing project 60 wrd/min art critic in a wooden house overlooking Karlsaue park. Three days per week, over the duration of the exhibition, she invites any artists who wish to receive a critique to submit their work so that she can produce a written review of it while they witness the process in real time. 60 wrd/min art critic is a work of performance art of its own right, an exploration of new forms of art writing, a role-reversal between artist and critic, a democratic gesture, and an attempt to circumvent the normal process of art reviewing.
