KLAU MICH: Radicalism in Society Meets Experiment on TV

Dora García’s project KLAU MICH: Radicalism in Society Meets Experiment on TV is an installation in the form of a permanent TV-set in the main venue of the Public Programs of dOCUMENTA (13) that screens weekly debates with invited guests and the audience. García’s project focuses on the anti-psychiatry and counter-institutional movements that emerged during the 1970s. It aims to initiate an open public debate and to explore new forms of narrative, experimental theatre, and audience engagement. The debates are open to the public at the Ständehaus and broadcast via the local community TV channel Offener Kanal. In addition to this, theatre rehearsals can be followed online, twice a week at www.dieklaumichshow. org. The installation is permanently open to the public.
