Swiss Chard Ferry Tasting
Swiss Chard Ferry Tasting is the activation of Christian Philipp Müller’s project for dOCUMENTA (13), which consists of turning six barges from the Cold War into floating Swiss chard gardens. By means of the sixty different varieties of Swiss chard grown on them, the ferries are given a new life, bringing forth a historical, environmental, and culinary narrative. During two tasting experiences in which visitors are invited to a light meal outside the Kunsthochschule (School of Art and Design) Kassel, the artist discusses the project and the various chard species involved. There is a 5€ admission fee for those participating in the lunch.
