The Cosmos Underground

Accompanying her installation Soil-erg (2012) and the Seed Constellation project at dOCUMENTA (13), Claire Pentecost holds a workshop on the value of soil. The two-hour working session titled “The Cosmos Underground” explores the mysteries of dirt, soil, and compost and why they should be important to us. Participants will get their hands dirty, as well as talking about the political dimensions of working with the earth and what this has to do with art.
