runme

By amy alexander, florian cramer, matthew fuller, et al.

runme is an online repository and presentation platform for “software art”. Emerging as a critical response to the existing formats of the 2003 Read_me 1.2 festival, particulary in relation to the “submission,” “selection,” and “categorization” of artworks, runme is structured as an open, self-submitting, and moderated database system.  It was developed as a collaborative project by Amy Alexander, Florian Cramer, Matthew Fuller, Olga Goriunova, Thomax Kaulmann, Alex McLean, Pit Schultz, Alexei Shulgin, and The Yes Men, and launched in 2003.
