Khaled Hourani was born in 1965 in Hebron, Palestine, and lives in Ramallah. He is the Director of the International Academy of Art Palestine. Hourani has taken part in numerous exhibitions, most recently at the KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Berlin, and the Sharjah Biennial (2011), and has curated the Young Artist of the Year Award (2002, 2000), as well as the Palestinian Pavilion for the Bienal de São Paulo (2004) and the Alexandria Biennale (2001).
