The Trial

The Trial is a performance that deals with the most important trials from the so-called Anni di Piombo (Years of Lead) in Italy, the days of left-wing terrorism and subsequent accusation and suspicion towards left-wing intellectuals and activists like Toni Negri and Paolo Virno. Rossella Biscotti’s performance is part of her ongoing project The Trial, which investigates the radical social and political movements of the 1970s in Italy.
