On September 18th and 19th, 2009, the living Artistic Directors of all preceding documenta exhibitions met with hundreds of interested visitors from all over the world at Castello di Rivoli, Turin, for the d documenta conference. For Carolyn Christov-Bakargiev and her team, the conference was the starting point for dOCUMENTA (13). The goal of the two-day conference was to provide a forum of discussion and reflection on the history of documenta, its various incarnations and its future.
